30 Lap Summary
The field starts according to last season's points; Jamie spins while running second on a slick track; Craig hits and spins Chris in turn 3 and cracked his new wheel; Craig then spins out Jamie the same way and penalizes himself; Danny loses his chain while leading and goes to the rear; Craig then dominates when Jamie and Chris spin.
20 Lap Summary
Danny starts from the front row and leads every lap, but is pursued closely by Jamie and Craig; Craig and Jamie make a lot of contact, but Jamie keeps second; Craig third; Chris was never a contender. This is Danny's first win of any kind in the Dirt Devil Lumina and appears to be a promising contender.
10 Lap Summary
Craig starts on the front row and was never challenged; Chris had some serious challenges from Jamie with a lot of contact, but was unable to finish second; Danny was unable to advance from fourth.
5 Lap Summary
Jamie and Danny have their Luminas on the front row with Danny assuming the lead at the green flag; Danny goes high; Jamie follows on the low side; Danny turns down and they both lose control and spin; Craig inherits the lead; Chris is second; Craig easily wins.

Race Summary

Chris and Craig have the front row; Chris leads the first 5 laps; Craig gets the lead for 3 laps and has a chain problem due to a bad clutch; Craig makes repairs and is 23 laps down; Jamie is unchallenged in the second half; Chris gets relief driver (a relative of Larry Younger) who is drunk and goes up on two wheels and causes a caution; Craig makes up 3 laps and finishes 20 laps down; Jamie wins for the second time of the last 3 events.

Jamie and Craig go quickly to the front; Chris breaks his drive wheel; Jerry H. retires; Michael has chain problems; Craig spins Jamie and himself while attempting to pass Jamie; Danny assumes the lead and goes on to win; Craig goes onto two wheels and nearly goes thru the tires in turn 2 while battling Danny for the lead.

20 Lap Summary

Michael and Jerry G. have chain problems; Danny, Jamie and Craig battle for the lead with Craig rubbing Jamie right rear quarter and causing him to lose control; Craig passes Jamie and contiues to the finish.

10 Lap Summary


Craig tries to blow by the field on the outside, but his left tires slip off of the track in turn 4, the kart overturns; Craig is thrown from the kart, does two somersaults, but is otherwise uninjured; definitely the wildest wreck to date; Danny retires with a flat tire; Chris tries to hold off 8 and 82 in the Margay, but has a chain problem; Craig spins to avoid #11 and is rammed hard by Danny.

5 Lap Summary


Craig scrubs with Michael in #11 to take the lead and Michael loses his chain; Jamie passes Chris for second and thus is assured of the championship by two points; Craig wins the Clash and 3 races, but still loses the championship. Chris concludes a disastrous series with 4 straight last place finishes and not on the lead lap in 8 previous races, but still finishes third in points.
