Race 3
September 22, 2001
Victory Lane Speedway
Driver Points 1. 7-Scottie Holloway 50 2. 19-Lonnie Harrold 40 3. 23-Nathaniel Foster 35 4. 2-Jr Prevette 30 5. 13-Joe West 25 6. 6-Chris Garris 20 7. 9-Jerry Garris 15 8. 82-Craig Garris 10 9. 8-Roger Williams 5
Summary of Race 3 Craig breaks another throttle on lap 1 and DNF; Jerry overheats and DNF; Scottie gets into Chris on the backstretch, wrecks in turn 3 and drivewheel later comes off and DNF; Scottie goes to the lead; Nathan makes a pass of Lonnie, which has been very rare this season to go to second; Nathan makes it very difficult for Lonnie to pass, but he eventually does so; Junior keeps the leaders in sight as they battle closely 1-3; Joe watches from 5th; Roger in his first race on Marc's kart is off the pace and spins in turn 4 and collects Nathan on lap 17; The 3 lap shootout is set up with Scottie, Lonnie, Junior, and Nathan; Nathan gets by Junior; Lonnie can only bump Scottie a couple of times, but is unable to push him out of the racing groove; Scottie claims his first Rebkart victory. Garris Motorsport continues to have multiple breakdowns and it doesn't look like the 1-2-3 points finish from Season 11 will happen in Season 12. A real rivalry sems to be brewing between Mishue Motorsports Lonnie Harrold and Foster Racing's two primary karts, Scottie Holloway and Nathan Foster.
Race 4

Cutthroat RidgeSpeedway
Driver Points 1. 19-Lonnie Harrold 50 2. 9-Jerry Garris 40 3. 13-Joe West 35 4. 6-Chris Garris 30 5. 82-Craig Garris 25 6. 8-Marc Cash 20
Summary of Race 4 Due to the extreme rough surface of the track, virturally every kart had some damage. 8-Marc exited first with chain problems; then 82-Craig with chain and clutch problems; next 6-Chris chain and warped wheel; next 13-Joe chain and lost weights. 6-Chris built an early, straightway lead and was enroute to a sure victory but chain trouble sidelined his kart. 19-Lonnie lost the back of his carb, but was never challenged by 9-Jerry's kart, which would not rev-up. The track was rough and tough, but the Dodges had enough to tough out a one two finish.
Race 5
October 20, 2001
Victory Lane Speedway
Driver Points 1. 23-Scottie Holloway 50 2. 19-Lonnie Harrold 40 3. 6-Chris Garris 35 4. 2-Jr. Prevette 30 5. 13-Joe West -1 25 6. 9-Jerry Garris -1 20 7. 8-Marc Cash -1 15 8. 3-Jamie Prevette -6 chain 10 9. 82-Craig Garris -8 engine 5 10.88-Chris Rhodes -18 5 11.7-Tom Miller -19 handling 5
Summary of Race 5: Eleven karts got the green flag for race 5; the front running karts are beginning to be more equal in power and handling and was reflected by the close running, tight racing and beating and banging that was exhibited not only during the race, but also during practice. During practice, #23 and #2 wrecked and couldn't continue; #9 spun out; other karts "traded paint". This was only a prelude to the actual race.
The main feature started with a "false start" that sent #9 into the infield--breaking his seat, after contact with #23. When the green flag fell, Chris, Jerry and Scottie took full advantage and bypassed the front row going into turn 1; Chris leads for 2 laps; Scottie gets around him and leads 18 laps and claimed his 2nd win; back in the pack a lot of passing was going on; Jerry gets on the outside and is passed by Craig and Lonnie; they both get by Chris; Jerry, Jr. and Jamie try to make it 3 wide out of 2 and go into turn 3; Jr. gets by, Jerry slips up and nudges Jamie, does a 360 spin and is hit by another kart and does another 360.
Craig breaks another rod; Jamie run well, but breaks a chain; Chris holds onto a respectable 3rd with a mean-handling kart; Joe has a steady run, but is a lap down; Jr. takes advantage of others misfortune and finishes 4th; Chris R has his first race since March and Tom Shawm made his first ever start; both had handling problems.
#23 kart engine builder, Ivan Foster, apparently has his engine and chassis at the top of RebKart.

Victory Lane Speedway
Driver Points 1. 6-Chris Garris 50 2. 19-Lonnie Harrold 40 3. 2-Jr Prevette 35 4. 13-Joe West 30 5. 1-Tom Shaw 25 6. 8-Mark Cash wreck 20 7. 82-Craig Garris throttle 15 8. 9-Jerry Garris heating 10
Summary of Race 6: CHRIS GETS 2OTH WIN
82-Craig took the initial lead to start the race and spun in turn 2; 1-Tom took the lead for a few laps and spun in turn 4;
9-Jerry was in the middle of the pack and dropped out for heating problems; 82-Craig followed shortly thereafter with a broken throttle (his 3rd).
After a restart, serious racing began with beating, banging, wrecking and general mayhem. 1-Tom spun in turn 1; 8-Mark tried to pass 1-Tom, but contact was made and warped his drive wheel; eliminating a good run for the Hosta.net kart: 13-Joe and 19-Lonnie got together in turn 4; 13-Joe got sideways and was clobbered by 1-Tom (leftside of 13 was collapsed to the frame) who made some doughnuts in the infield.
After a war of attrition, 6-Chris was in the lead with 19-Lonnie only inches off of his rear bumper. 19-Lonnie made several attempts to pass, but was unable to pass without possibly wrecking both karts
The hard luck award has to go to 13-Joe, who had a very fast kart and was capable of winning, but after he got clobbered in turn 4, his kart would not handle and had to settle for 5th.
Race 7
Driver Points 1. 1-Tom Shaw 50 2. 82-Craig Garris 40 3. 2-Jr Prevette 35 4. 6-Chris Garris 30 5. 19-Lonnie Harrold 25 6. 9-Jerry Garris 20 7. 13a-Gary Barrows 15 8. 23-Ben Harbour 10 9. 13-Joe West (blown engine) 5
Summary: RebKart Racing returned to the track after a winter lay-off. The track was very muddy, slick and almost impossible to gain any traction.
1-Tom was the only driver to get much traction and parlayed it into getting his first RebKart victory, congratulations.
There were only two passes of note; 1-Tom passing 82-Craig for the lead: 19-Lonnie passing 9-Jerry for fifth.
Since passing was almost impossible, the finishing order was essentially the same as the starting order.
13-Joe continues his good run of bad luck; this time it was a blown engine....rod, crank, cam, etc.
Race 8

Lonnie broke his engine during a caution flag lap; and on the same lap Chris broke his chain
The race was plagued by poor visibility because of the extreme dusty conditions. Several spin-outs occurred in turn 1.
13-Joe's good run of bad luck continues as he broke his engine during "hot laps" and was not able to start the race. This time a valve spring keeper.
Race 9
April 20, 2002
Driver Points 1. 82-Craig Garris 50 2. 6-Chris Garris 40 3. 23-Ben Harbour (drive wheel) 35 4. 1-Tom Shaw (wreck) 30 5. 9-Jerry Garris (piston) 25 6. 13-Joe West (carb) 20 7. 13a-John Boy (axle) 15 8. 2-Jr. Prevette (heating) 10 9. 7-Tony Miller (dust-no helmet) 5
Summary: One of the hardest fought races occurred Saturday; on the first lap 1-Tom tried to pass 9-Jerry on the inside, got into the inside berm, and flipped his kart over; 6-Chris was able to get thru the melee for the lead.
After a restart, 9-Jerry was able to claim second with a turn 2 pass on 2-Jr, 82-Craig and 23-Ben; Another caution occurred; 82-Craig was able to pass 6-Chris for the lead and was never passed again; 9-Jerry burned a piston, lost power and parked it; 1-Tom inherited third and the stage was set for the white flag lap.
82-Craig had a dragging broken seat and was slowing; 6-Chris made a run on 82-Craig into the first turn; lifted to keep from spinning 82-Craig, 1-Tom doesn't lift and bangs into 6-Chris; spins 6-Chris and goes into the inside berm and flips for the second time. 2-Jr gets into 23-Ben and causes 23-Ben to turn over. Later a broken drive wheel ruins a great run by Ben.
The "good run" of bad luck continues to plague Slow Joe Racing; this time both of his karts had mechanical failures. Jr. had heatig problems and Tony stopped after a couple of laps due to dust--no helmet.

Craig goes under Tom for the lead on a restart they are side by side and wreck in turn 2.
Craig is third, Tom is fourth; on the restart Craig goes for second, Tom collides with rear of Craig's kart, both wreck.

Craig says he has had enough of the rough driving and has a confrontation with Tom at the Start Finish line
Tom is disqualified for rules violation and rough driving
Craig is ejected for rules violation
Race resumes with Joe holding off Roger for his first RebKart Win, even though his chain was on the hub for the last lap.
