Driver Points 1. 101-Jesse Prevette 50 2. 9-Jerry Garris 40 3. 82-Craig Garris 35 4. 6-Chris Garris 30
Summary: 9-Jerry leads the first few laps with a dominating engine; he loses a chain and track position. Later he assumes the lead; goes into turn 1; 82-Craig makes it 2-wide; 101-Jesse makes it 3-wide; needlessly to say, a crash occurs: 6-Chris nearly makes it around the wreck, but is involved also. 6-Chris grenades his engine, (Craig's backup), blew a hole in the block. 101-assumes the lead; 9-Jerry tries to pass 82-Craig low in turn 2; goes up the track and wrecks 82-Craig: 101-Jesse goes on to win his 4th race.
Race 3
February 11 2001
Driver Points 1. 88-Joey Pullen 50 2. 82-Craig Garris engine 40 3. 2-Jr Prevette chain 35 4. 6-Chris Garris chain 30 5. 9-Jerry Garris chain 25 6. 88-Chris Rhodes chain 20
Summary: One of the worst races ever ran concluded with Joey Pullen getting his first victory. For Joey the race was great; but every other kart dropped out by about 10 laps into the race, primarily because of chain problems. Chris dominated early, then Craig led a couple laps. Joey capitalized by having a reliable, but off-the-pace kart.
Race 4
March 10, 2001
Driver Points 1. 6-Chris Garris 50 2. 101-Jesse Prevette 40 3. 2-Jr Prevette 35 4. 9-Jerry Garris chain/steering -15 30 5. 82-Craig Garris broken axle -45 25
Summary: A great battle developed on the second lap with 9, 6, and 82 go 3 wide into turn one; 9 spins on a wet spot. On the re-start, 82 leads, 101 is pushing 82, 2 is pushing 101, as they exit turn 2, all three wreck with 82 and 2 climbing the inside bank. 2 goes thru the infield. 82 breaks his drive axle and also collects 6 in the wreck. 9 is untouched. Later, 101 tries to pass 9 in turn 3; both wreck and 6 is also involved, bending his left suspension. 9 is sidelined by chain problems. 6 makes repairs and cruises to another win.

Race 6
May 12, 2001 (night race)
Driver Points 1. 9-Jerry Garris 50 2. 2-Jr. Prevette 40 3. 82-Craig Garris (steering) 35 4. 6-Chris Garris (engine) 30
Summary---Chris, Craig and Junior have a series of accidents starting with Junior being spun on Lap 1 after Chris contacts Craig sending him into Junior. Junior drives Craig into the turn 4 barrier and on the same lap sends Chris off the track. Chris returns the favor to Junior; and three wide action leads to all three wrecking with Craig slowed by a resulting handling problem. Chris never gets a chance to run down Jerry as his engine expires. Jerry is in control until he spins by himself, and must pass Junior twice in the last 15 laps to win for the first time since 1994. Congratulations to Jerry and the #9 Dodge. It's been a long time coming! Great race.
Race 7
June 2, 2001 (night race)
Driver Points 1. 2-Jr. Prevette 50 2. 9-Jerry Garris (carb bolts) 40 3. 6-Chris Garris (carb pickup tube) 35 4. 3-Jamie Prevette (handling) 30 5. 82-Craig Garris (flat tire) 25
Summary---Chris leads the first few laps before Junior gets by and never looks back. Jerry, Craig and Jamie are three wide on the backstretch early on. Craig and Jamie is the only real racing as they swap 4th four times before Jamie pulls away following Craig's flat tire. Junior has probably his most impressive win in his career as he nearly laps the field. Jerry continues to run the best he ever has by finishing 2nd. Probably the shortest time for a race; 8+ minutes total time: as there were not any caution laps.
Race 8
June 16, 2001 (night race)
Driver Points 1. 2-Chris Garris 50 2. 9-Jerry Garris (heating) 40 3. 82-Craig Garris 35
Summary---Chris breaks a throttle on the first start; on the second start, he breaks a chain; Jr. was sick and let Chris drive #2. Chris dominated by lapping the field; Jerry was able to pass Craig, who had an underpowered Kart, and an uninspiring race began and completed, with no caution laps.
Race 9
July 7, 2001 (night race)
Driver Points 1. 29-Lonnie Harrold 50 2. 30-Jamie Prevette (fuel) 40 3. 13-Joe West 35 4. 6-Chris Garris (engine) 30 5. 82-Craig Garris (tire) 25 6. 2-Jr Prevette (chain) 20 7. 9-Jerry Garris (engine) 15
Summary---Craig leads the first few laps until Chris gets by bringing Jamie with him. Jamie takes over and leads most of the race. Meanwhile, Junior and Lonnie have a private war and Jerry runs in 4th. After Junior and Lonnie spin a couple times each, Jerry's engine dies, Junior breaks a chain, Craig blows a tire, and Chris is last to retire with engine trouble. Joe is not competitive, but runs a very good race and finishes 3rd. Jamie, who is running out of fuel, is passed dramatically with 5 laps to go by Lonnie. Lonnie claims his first win in his first start.
Race 10
August 4, 2001 (night race)
Driver Points 1. 82-Craig Garris 50 2. 13-Joe 40 3. 20-Jr Prevette (suspension) 35 4. 23-N. Foster (unk) 30 5. 9-Jerry Garris (chain) 25 6. 6-Chris Garris (bearing) 20 7. 19-Lonnie Harrold (chain) 15
Summary---Chris works to the front bringing Lonnie with him. Craig and Jerry attempt to keep up with Joe, Foster and Junior close behind. A series of spins involving every kart follows with everyone behind Chris and Lonnie mixing it up. Lonnie drops out, Chris does the same a couple laps later and leaves Craig to fend off Joe. Joe looks inside several times, but is unable to make the pass in a very close finish. Craig claims career win #30 and more importantly his 4th points championship.
